I don’t remember my exact start or finish date because I’m not gonna lie, it took way too long to read. I was really hoping this was gonna be the book to pull me out of my slump, but it did not work out that way.
Olive felt like that wattpad stereotypical character I so desperately try to leave back in middle school. Also, the climax was ironically so anti-climatic.
Overall, it was a cute read, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it. It fulfills the fake relationship trope to a tee and I really enjoyed that part of the novel; however, I was expecting more because of the way it was hyped up on tiktok.
