The pacing of this book saved it, it was always moving, and if it hadnt been for that I would have probably dnfed. Christian fiction is really starting to bug me, because it's most often that we have an MC who is not a christian, and the book follows them becoming one. This one wasnt the most aggravating, but it still irked me a bit. The things that happened all seemed a bit out of the blue. Still though it had enough intrigue to keep me going, and I really appreciated the authors note at the end of the book. But I don't think I would recommend this to anyone.
We have the main case of Brent's death, and then Casey leaves, manages to find an ID super fast, and then manages to solve a missing teen case in a random town? and then just leave without the friend she's made ever thanking her? I did not like that
