I don’t know how Catharina does it, but book 2 was even better than book 1! I loved every moment of Luca and Valentina’s story. I knew this was going to be a good one when Luca announced he went against his grandmother’s wishes and decided to marry Valentina instead. The Temporary Wife starts with a bang with Luca and Valentina marrying each other in a mutually beneficial agreement. All Luca wants to do is keep his secretary from quitting her job and leaving him….even if he’s not fully sure why that is. Luca is the best possessive, alpha, billionaire. This was the perfect office romance/marriage of convenience that will have you rooting for Luca and Valentina the entire time. The way that Luca cares for Valentina is absolutely precious and I could not get enough of those two. I ran through this book so quickly and can’t wait to read the rest of the Windsor family!
