Looking for Home by Aria Grace
4.0
I received a copy of this book from the author via the DBML program in exchange for an honest review.
3.5 stars, rounded to 4 because I liked Evan so much
Looking for Home by Aria Grace is the 9th entry in the series by the author. Although characters carry over from prior stories, the book is a standalone and it’s not necessary to read the previous books. That being said it did take me a bit to get into the story because I didn’t have the back stories of some of the secondary characters featured. It wasn’t terrible; I just had to work a bit to keep them straight. Georgie is a rent boy, saving money to fund a career in fashion. Evan is a long haul truck driver who is recovering from a bad relationship in his past. The two men meet at a New Years Eve party and have a rocky start to their relationship. There are problems that need to be overcome (Georgie’s dickish behavior at the initial meeting, Georgie’s career both present as a prostitute and potential as a fashion designer, a major health scare) but everything works out in the end for a HEA for the couple. It was a good, quick story that was an enjoyable afternoon read.
