White Rose Rebel by Janet Paisley

4.0

White Rose Rebel is a fantastic tale of divided loyalties during the Jacobite Rebellion.

The story follows Anne, a woman who is a staunch supporter of the Stuart regime, as she rounds up troops from her husband's clan, as he sides with the English government. Tensions mount as her former lover, and husband's closest relative, also joins her on the war trail.

The novel had the perfect storm of elements, from suspense and thrill, to the gory details of war, and the romantic intrigues of a woman deciding her best match.
