In My Hands: Memories of a Holocaust Rescuer by Irene Gut Opdyke

5.0

This was a very interesting biography. I was amazed to hear how she handled many of the situations that presented themselves to her, but more so I found her eventual escape from Russian occupied Poland interesting and compelling. It is an example of how God can use many things in our life including the connections we have with others to fulfill His plans for us.

There are also many different personal retellings about within her own story, that made this an extremely compelling read. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in hearing about those who fought more subtly against Hitler, as well as those interested to see how God can use seemly ordinary people to do fantastic things!
