If he can’t pursue me and tell me his feelings like how Mav does with Hendrix?? I don’t want him lol. As someone who has 1) seen my great granny deteriorate because of dementia, 2) is plus sized, 3) is a woman in her late 20s who doesn’t want kids but feels like I need to convince myself to want them because of society, AND 4) someone who has been single for a long time now because a lot of these men are trash -- this book has made me feel seen. It has made me feel so valued. This book has given me hope that one day (hopefully sooner rather than later lol), I’ll be able to have a love as fierce, passionate, protective and soft as the love Hendrix and Maverick share. Crying while i write this just like I cried throughout the book. There were parts where I had to put it down (never for more than an hour or so) because I ✨literally✨ felt like my heart was going to explode because of the way Mav, Yaz and Sol showed up for our girl. This book was perfect 💜
