The Body Is Not an Apology: The Power of Radical Self-Love
by Sonya Renee Taylor
Absolutely perfectly if you wish to learn how to stand tall and unapologetically in your own body. No matter its size, colour, sexual orientation, gender or disabilities.
The author is a powerhouse of a woman, and she educates you with a clearly love filled heart. She makes topics I have never thought about easy to grip, and allows you to make mistakes whilst answering or asking questions.
There are moments for self reflection where the theme of a chapter is summarised. And there are questions asked so you get to reflect on your personal experience of a certain subject. It makes you connect with yourself and your body image as you go through the pages. A fulfilling experience.
Extremely respectful, diverse, packed with compassionate knowledge and educational in the exact way I hoped it to be.
