okay. so some of the language is definitely outdated but i think the advice presented is SO important. i also thought a lot about how abuse was framed in terms of a power structure rather than gender dynamics; like it's obvious but i hadn't ever realized that before. the abuse is an aspect of all of our lives even if it isn't intimate partner violence.. it's systemic as well (jobs, racism, etc.)
