Back on my BS reading interconnected standalones out of order... I loved this one. I adored all the characters and the easy way they fit together. There was really great representation in here, from the family and friend relationships, to the unwelcome attention fame and small towns can have. Joe is a single father to a very enthusiastic young boy and a four year old autistic girl, and the representation of that was very well done. Maren was written so well and was believable to me as a character. Okay anyway I'm gonna go do my laps now
