I really wanted to understand why Tumi’s story was told in third person when everyone else’s POV was in first person, what was the reason for that ?
This book was 🫠 hmmmmm….. short enough, it did explore some deep pertinent issues around body dysmorphia and that was great to see how deeply ingrained it is in culture and especially modern day Nigeria as experienced in this book!
1 full star was for all the family secrets and the other was for the issues being discussed……..
