Ok. Wow. This book has it all. A solid world that you can easily imagine, well rounded and believable characters, friendship, danger, magic, romance, and more than a little spice!
I instantly loved Leora. Maybe because it was clear no-one in the book did. She was different, and that made her unlovable in their eyes.
In fact I liked all the main characters, although I was never 100% sure if I could trust Leopold. Their interactions with each other were realistic and genuine.
There wasn't really anything I didn't like about this book. The language, the pacing, the storyline. It was all brilliant.
The last chapter could have lasted forever and I wouldn't have had enough. I can't wait to get my hands on book 2 and see how it all ends.
