The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
5.0
What an entertaining and fun book!
I had only seen various animated or live-action versions of the story before (though I had read Huck Finn), so though I knew the broad strokes of the story there was much that was new here. It was so interesting to get a look at how similar and how different childhood was when Twain was writing compared to today.
Lauren and I listened to the audiobook version on a road trip and this particular version was narrated by Nick Offerman (of Ron Swanson/Parks and Rec fame). I couldn't recommend it highly enough! Offerman is perfect for this story, both in the narration and his character voices.
