After finishing Nevernight I could not wait to continue the series. Reading a different book entirely before starting Godsgrave so I can refresh my pallet you could say, I come out the other side after finishing it mixed. For me it was a very up and down read, some aspects would peak my interest and I want to keep reading, yet other parts felt like a slog to read and not being a fast reader makes that feel even more painful.
I think my views on this entry comes from it being so drastically different from the first. Focusing on something that would not normally interest me. In the end, the highs were so high and enjoyable that even with the lows I still rate it high, and that ending! Just amazing
