I haven’t enjoyed the other two books in this series so I really went into this with low expectations but this was by far my favorite of the series. The romance in this book was just done so well and I absolutely loved both characters. I loved how Ronan warned up to Mila, how milas core self didn’t change but parts of her did, and how they came together as a couple in the end. I do wish there was more romance though. The first half of this book felt kind of slow and very mafia heavy but the center of it was a pretty boring feud so I just didn’t really care. Once the romance picked up I absolutely loved the story and I also loved getting to see Gianna and Christian again as well as some of the new side characters. The last 25% of this book made me fall in love with this couple and I love how it played out and how it was executed. So overall, a great way to end this series especially considering my opinions on the first two books.
