Beautifully told story of love and forgiveness. The middle of the book did meander a bit. Passage of time was not clear, sometimes jumping 10+ years with a single sentence which could be confusing. I also felt like so many large events happened without much explanation while other things were meticulously described. I.e. Peter’s cross country days have several pages of description while the birth of his children is just mentioned. I would have liked a little more focus in the middle and end. The language is lovely, the characters are believable and rich, ultimately, really enjoyable read.
