Guys this is one of my favourites series! I’ve been looking forward to Forbidden Game since reading Good Game last year and @madisonfox did not let me down! Gamer heroes with all the found family/bromance fun you get from reading sports romance. That’s what The System is giving🙌🏼 I’ve always loved gaming, so this series and these characters are going to be a comfort read for me. There’s also plenty of great spice🌶️
The hero in this one Parker was even more perfect than I expected him to be. He’s a cocky billionaire with great banter and a heart of gold💙 Sydney is their publicist and in book one was already a badass so I knew what I’d be getting here, but I loved to see the layers to her character and some of the vulnerability and struggles she’d been dealing with but hiding behind her strong facade. Sydney and Parker together were everything, the support they showed to each other at every opportunity was *chefs kiss*
My favourite couple and book in the series so far, but we haven’t read Jackson’s book yet so we will see where that leaves me! Still patiently waiting for someone to start making The System merch so I can own it!
