I am absolutely zooming through this series! These books have had me hooked and they are impossible to put down.

I really like how this sequel just picks up right where we left off, there's no dramatic time skip or magical fixes, everything is still a bit of a mess but the show must go on.

I got my wish of a bit more Sirra backstory! She is honestly such a tough badass lady. And I know she is the antihero but still, she's so cool and strong and an independent lady if there ever was one.

There was so many twists in this one over who was actually the bad guy and I truly think it was so well executed. I thought the use of the Dragon Assassins really added a whole other depth to the story instead of just being Cyran and Sirra fighting for their kingdoms.

Once again I loved all the different types of dragons that were in this book. Truly a great fantasy series!
