When I first started this book, I was hesitant that I was going to like it because the mood and language is very different than what I usually read. However, I quickly ended up loving it because of the depth of the characters, and how well-balanced it is between the fun and the near-death action. It's like The Hunger Games meets Dungeons & Dragons meets Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and I can't get enough. I can't wait to continue the series.
