“I don’t hate you. I wish I hated you. It would make things easier, it would mean I don’t care.”

2.75 stars ⭐ I could round up the stars to 3, but it feels like a disservice to other Harlow books I enjoyed and rated around 3. I am angry at this book, I have been waiting for a romance book version of "Life as We Know It" for years. This one had all the right ingredients:
- BFF's brother
- Childhood crush to enemies to lovers
- Mutual pining
- Neighbours / close proximity potential
- Love through grief
- Stand in parenting
- Funny kids

Not to mention it was written by one of my favorite authors from this year. And it just did not deliver
