There are a lot of characters to keep up and we all know I struggle with that. There is Cassidy, Amaya, Clara, Grace, Olivia, Joshua, Ian, Hollis, Brody, Russ and the dead people. It’s just overwhelming. But this book is a decent whodunit mystery. The book begs the question in a room full of people who do you save? As Cassidy looks around she analyzes each of her friends and decides who is worth saving. But in the end don’t we always just save ourself? It’s not one of my favorite reads this year but it’s okay. I struggle with Megan Miranda books but I always read them. The book is a little long and at times you just want things wrapped up. The twist is anti climatic and it’s fairly predictable. It just didn’t quite hold my attention how I would have liked. Sometimes there can just be too many characters and usually when that happens there is no character development and you don’t make a connection with anyone. So who do you save? You save whoever you can.
