This book was really good up until about 80% through. At that point, the author asked for buy in that one of the main characters had worn shoes full of stolen diamonds through the security line at Heathrow many times, taking her shoes off and having them put through the scanners, and nobody ever caught her. Look, I know most airports are shit at their jobs of finding contraband, but Heathrow is NOT. They are very good at what they do at their security check points, and honestly, there is no way you walk through with shoes full of stolen diamonds, and don't get caught. This makes the whole premise of the book too shaky for willing suspension of disbelief, and I never did get into it again. I finished only because i was already 80% through the book, but honestly. stupid.
