i'm not gonna bother writing my thoughts on every single vampire academy novel since my ratings for all 6 books pretty much range from a 3 to a 3.5. i honestly wasn't expecting much??? but i was pleasantly surprised at just how much i liked, even loved, aspects of this series. i loved how rose felt like a real teenager, both alternately mature and immature at the same time and how at the heart of it all this series is truly about rose and lissa's friendship and love for each other. lady friendships are always a good thing of course and the fact that it's such a HUGE part (hell, really it's the whole point) of these novels is pretty fantastic.
