A story of grief, redemption, courage (or lack thereof,) some of the negative sides of father-son relations, and a sprinkle of Afghani culture and wartime. I powered through the audiobook in a couple sittings at 1.25-1.5x speed so my comprehension probably isn't complete.
Definitely mainly focuses on those male characters.
Some like Amir, some find him unlikeable. I seemed to like and appreciate his journey and it's many well thought out metaphors.
I like this book because of it's look at a complicated father's on relation and the protagonists constant lack of self-assurance.

Minor: Miscarriage
