Just finished listening to the audiobook of 'A Study in Scarlet' and I must say this is the best Sherlock Holmes story. I loved the plot and the story development. It has the depth and, of course, the thrill. The thing that I loved the most is that it has a story inside the story. A story of a father-daughter, their lives, a newly formed religion, and a man who loved a woman with all his heart. 
 
Also, I read the first book of Sherlock Holmes so very late after reading so many short stories from the series.
