Absolutely loved!!! The perfect conclusion to Vali and Ailsa’s little duet.
Full of lore, plot, world building, humour, tension and delightful writing.
In general, I think my favourite thing about Alexis’ books is her writing. I sometimes struggle with getting into fantasy books, but her writing is so easy to absorb without being simplistic.
Also can I just say - rap battles??? I was HOWLING!! Didn’t expect this book to be so funny hahaha
