Well if this wasn’t disappointing..
Okay, first : The fact that the heroine planned her life in function of the hero after their breakup. The hErO who actually dumped her the next minute she had a miscarriage was the weirdest, dumbest and most unhealthy thing I’ve ever read.
The relationship between the protagonists were shallow. It was a damn second chance romance with some deep traumas so I was eventually expecting more of an anguish relationship between them, more talking about what happened and more ACTS from the hero for them to get back together. It felt like the author had just highlighted the important issues and topics and centered most of the book around conversations and scenes that were useless.
I wanted to dnf it so many times but kept reading just in case I missed some important points for the 2 other books left in the series wish btw are written by two of my fav’ authors. ( and it was pointless)
