She's Not Sorry by Mary Kubica

4.25

4.5 stars rounded up! Honestly, it earns its stars from plot twist whiplash ALONE. I had a mid-book “OH MY GODDDD” moment, totally gave me that same vibe from Local Woman Missing.

I did find some sections to be a bit over explained or like a bit of a reach. For example, in a high intensity moment, the protagonist suddenly remembers a class she took in college to explain her special out-of-nowhere knowledge.

Other than these moments where I was like “bleh, too much explaining”, VERY good, cinematic, delightfully easy-to-read thriller.
