Very appropriate for the times we are currently living. We don't ever find out why the electricity went out, so you can fill that in with your own ideas.
This is a well-written, engaging story - until the end when they do several things I had problems with. Most of it is spoilery stuff, so I won't outline them here, but I can say that the ending was an insult to book lovers everywhere.
