Perhaps if I gave a damn about the Tris/Four relationship this story would upset me, but I don't and so it doesn't. Instead, it comes across as a grown-up, healthy conclusion to grief and trauma, arguing that it doesn't have to define the characters, and that they can move on and have happy lives regardless of the terrible things that have happened to them. It's very undramatic, in that sense, which is probably why I like it.
