A great sequel to Six of Crows! Though not quite as good in my opinion. The first 150 pages flew by for me, as did the last 100 or so, but the middle felt quite slow to me, with a lot of talking, and planning, and negotiating, in lieu of action.
I also felt as though some of the character arcs weren't pulled of as well as in the first book, though Wylan was definitely more developed in this book, and I was glad to see some chapters from his POV.
I wasn't really satisfied with the ending (though I'm very picky, and have yet to read a book with an ending that I found satisfying), and I felt that certain events were rushed, resulting in character arcs with lukewarm resolutions.
That said, the writing and imagery were still lovely, the plot and premise were creative, and overall, this duology was a really fun adventure. I'd it to most fantasy readers.
