The story was very good and I enjoyed it, and I could notice some Tolkien inspiration.
I did not "experience" the story, its more that I read about it.
Everything was just there, and we didnt get any information as to why everything was there.
There is magic, but what kind and what is the magic system? Why?
The MMC loves the FMC but why?
One page they are loving, and the next page they suddenly not, why?
We also didnt really get to know what thrives the main characters, what their personality is like, except for Enzo.
I finished this book within 24 hours and I really liked the concept and the story.
It is something I have not read before and it was refreshing. Very dark at some points.
I feel like if we got more information and were more involved with the story, it wouldve been more immersive and gotten a higher star rating.
It felt as if this was a second book in the series and we somehow missed the first book.
That being said I do have a feeling that book 2 is going to explain so much and answer all of those questions.
So I am very impatiently waiting for book 2. Even though this book isnt even out yet.
I NEED TO KNOW WHY??
I GOTS TO KNOW
Thankyou for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!
