Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
This is porn with a storyline. Having sex in a book is fine but writing a book around sex makes me uncomfortable and cringyyyyyy. Maybe for some people this is fine but for me it's weird. Maybe because I DNF I will never know but to take real world mythology and put a major spin on it but only use it to further the smut of the storyline rather than the actual storyline made it difficult to read. Could be a potentially cool concept as far as the title and roles of Greek gods passed down rather than them being immortal is a cool concept and lots could be done with that. Especially in the build up. But i really think this book (and I'm going to guess the rest of the series) is just incredibly sexual and nasty.
