The plot of this book felt so fresh! Having the characters linked to fairy tales, destined to die horrifically, was so fun and eerie at once. I enjoyed guessing which girl connected to which story, most who I figured out quickly except Nani, which took me around 50% through to realise.

Now, for my opinions on the bucket load of characters:
Nani was one of my favourites, she was stubborn to a fault, but so so lovable. Her romance with Svenja was so sweet, as she learnt that she deserved friendship and love.
Rory was so fierce, so angry. She also had a sweet sapphic romance which is quite a slow-burn. I hope to see more of her character in the next book.
Ari, the dead girl, we didn't learn much about at all. Maybe more information will be revealed?
Ella was precious. How dare her stepmother treat her so cruelly!!! Her relationship with Frederick was adorable, and I rarely say that for mlf romances.
Yuki made many mistakes, but I think she was the bravest of the gang. She is a proudly aroace character, which was refreshing. I hope to see her grow even stronger!
And as for Penelope, I don't want to spoil anything....

The beginning was fast paced, and it continued that way until the very end.
The ending cliff hanger was too abrupt, my only criticism about this book. A cliff hanger is supposed to leave us in shock, not disappointed that we don't get at keast one more chapter. That being said, I'll certainly read the second book soon.
