A good introduction to the series, I've been a fan for years and I just now read the first book. It's like Law and Order SVU and Criminal Minds but with Sc-FI. 

However, you can tell this was written awhile ago. I've always loved Roarke but was surprised that he was very r@pey towards Eve.
