I received an eARC of this novella for an honest review.
This was probably my favourite episode of the Hunter series so far. The plot was well paced and exciting, and the ending was actually heartwarming.
Eric's character development seemed sudden at first, but it made sense within the story. I enjoyed seeing him grow and make conscious attempts to change his attitude after the last installment.
The monsters in this episode were interesting and described with the right amount of vivid detail without being overwhelming.
Overall and excellent addition to the series and I look forward to reading more.
