Ok this is my review for all three books. To sum up what im going to say in one sentence; this book is LITERALLY, like basically word for word but with characters switched [b:A Court of Thorns and Roses|16096824|A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)|Sarah J. Maas|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1546406962l/16096824._SY75_.jpg|21905102]

Now this is not a problem for me and here's why;
It's like another take on ACOTAR but in a parallel universe, ima mark the similarities.
-There is a sun lord, Archeron, and a dark lord, Stolas,
-Haven picks the sun lord before choosing the dark lord who is the sun lords enemy.
-The sun lord is highkey toxic, and only wants to protect our heroine and is afraid of her new abilities.
-The dark lord is a prisoner to an evil woman, and basically her slave against her will in an effort to protect his people and those he loves.
-Haven throws a shoe at the dark lord (sound familiar?)
-Haven makes a bargain with the dark lord, against the sun lords wishes
-The Sun lord turns bad and teams up with the big evil
-Haven and the dark lord can mindspeak
-The dark lord has wings and a big wingspan ;)
-Haven is an archer primarily

I'm sure by now you get the gist but I am quite certain that if ACOTAR did not exist this book wouldn't either. However FEAR not, this book did add its own original story and take to everything, its just that as a fan of ACOTAR the deja vu was CRAZY.

I never liked how everything with Tamlin was handled in ACOTAR, but I like what happens to THIS Tamlin, wayyyy better. It makes way more sense too. So its nice to finally have closure y'know?

Anywho I'm about to start the fourth book :)))))
