It's so damn obvious that you're in love with each other and that the feelings are real common not because of the bond, so why do you want to break the bond? Breaking the bond was not going to help Jackson as far as his soul was concerned, the only reason why you were breaking the bond originally was so you could get back with Jackson, but you didn't even want to be back with Jackson any more at this point.
Other than that 1 little bit I really enjoyed how the whole book went, and I'm really excited to read the 4th in the series.
Re-read:
At 18% in, all in can think, "Is Grace really this obtuse to believe Hudson wants to break the mating bond because he doesn't want her?" It's blatantly obvious he loves her, and only wants to break the mating bond because she loves Jaxon! He even TELLS HER at 20% that he wants to be mated to her or his best friend as he called her. She's just so willfully stupid, and I can't stand it.
She keeps going on and on about her new unmated relationship with Jaxon and why he's treating her so differently. She's soooo stupid! He's treating you differently because you only know how he's treated being your mate! This is how he treats you, not being your mate! You can't expect what you've always known when it's not the same as it's always been. I forgot how much this book makes he hate her.
At 45% in, Grace goes off on Flint, and all I can think is, "It's about damn time! You go, girl!"
53% in, and I'm back to hating Grace again. ๐
At 92% in, I started crying because I forgot about this part ๐ญ and I continue to try for the next several pages because of all the sadness and sacrifice.
It leaves us on a cliffhanger, making me so anxious for book 4!
