A house that holds hidden memories which slowly unfold into a breathtaking story about loss and lesbian longing. As someone who feels very attached to spaces and memorabilia, this book resonated deeply with me. It is both so tragic & comforting how a home can shape one‘s being…
I expected the plot twist in part III to some sort but was still captivated by how well it was woven into the story and how much historical depth it brought to the plot. Also: What a beautiful & clever title.
I devoured this book and pretty much read it within one sitting - only waited for a few days to  finish the last pages simply because I didn‘t want it to be over… </3
There’s some spicy scenes in part II and it gets quite explicit there so if you don’t like that, this book is probably not for you.
