Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
5.0

Such a good read! Frank McCourt's writing style is very interesting; he doesn't put quotation marks around words being spoken, which I found slightly odd, but I got used to it. He tells the heartbreaking tale of his youth, including his drunk father and times of starvation. I've read other memoirs where people discuss their poverty, but none of the family's I've read about were as worse off as the McCourts.
