i felt like i’ve dived into a philosophical debate in my mind of what makes humanity, humanity itself and the meaning of it. i definitely HAVE to re-read this again and dissect it further than i did now. despite the simplicity of the way it was told and the seemingly short text, the outsider goes in depth over these unanswered philosophical questions to which it is very much open to one’s own interpretation or perception. this is my first camus’ i’ve read and definitely will not be the last.
