“I fucking pick you too, Zaden. Every goddamn time. I pick you.”

I went into this story completely blind like I do most and I'm so happy I did. This book does have some triggers so if that's a concern please check those out before reading.

This was such a unique take on a dystopian future with the Grey Area and a group of people who decided they just didn't want to go back to being governed when the world got it's shit together so they built their own societies and lived by their own rules.

The story was full of twists and turns keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Which left me just wanting more of all the characters. I loved all the individual relationships and seeing the character development as they progressed and how accepting/ understanding they all were with each other and their.. coping mechanisms .. yeah let's go with coping mechanisms (trying not to spoil anything here).

I only wish there was more to this story.. I'm sad it's over these characters and their world will be something I think about often and this will probably go into my reread rotation for when I hit book slumps.
