I dragged out reading this because I cared just enough to finish it, but it got more confusing and dull as it went on. There were definitely some interesting ideas and characters, but for me they never added up to anything particularly satisfying. I lost the plot pretty much entirely by the end, which to be fair wasn't aided by listening to the book in audiobook form.
