Recently, I have read a lot of Manhwa and manhua and started to notice similar themes and stories. Thankfully, this webtoon skipped all the toxic and crazy nonsense and stuck with the generic love story but with a twist.

Jieon is a hard-working young female, working towards her goal of getting an apartment with her mother without much of a social life outside of work. Doyon is an actor with social anxiety, panic attacks, and constant fear that people will find out about his condition. Because of this, he has not worked for over six years and has regular mood swings. Doyon runs into Jieon when she is working part-time at a studio where he is to make a cameo in a popular TV series. After this meeting, a doll that Jieon owns starts to control Doyon and his actions.

The way the author dealt with Doyon's mental issues and Jieon's handling of the situation with the doll won me over. I was ready for some cringing and questionable choices made by both, but surprisingly they were both mature and handled each situation well. As soon as Jieon was sure about the doll's powers, she confessed everything to Doyon. She did not make excuses for any of the problems she caused, even if it was unknown at the time, and was ready for the punishment that Doyon suggested. A common trope in romcoms is for girls' to be ditzy and the guys to be jerks, which this one skips.

Overall, solid with the generic romance but no problems with the portrayals of the main characters.
