Holy shit, that book was strangely addicting. I’m sure if you’re reading this review, you are looking into whether this book is worth reading, worth the hype, and there is no easy answer to that.

First off, please, please please please make sure you read the trigger warnings at the beginning of this book. I went into this book, knowing that it was going to be one of the darkest books I’ve ever read and it definitely was that. However, I weirdly expected it to be darker and more f***ed up.

I honestly don’t know how to review this book because I weirdly enjoyed it, but there’s also not a lot of substance to this book. I will say one of my favourite parts of this story was solving the mystery of the grandmother’s death. I think having that extra layer in the story, made it more than just a smutty read.

The characters individually are interesting. Some of it seems very unbelievable but in the end, I still enjoyed it.  I don’t know why or how this book is just so addicting. But I read it in 24 hours.

It’s something different and not typically something I would read so if you’re looking for something to shake up your reading experience because you’re tired of reading the same thing over and over again then this might be Something for you to try.
