Bullshit Jobs: A Theory
by David Graeber
stumbled a little in the middle - the chapters on why and how bullshit jobs were bad tended to flounder about a little aimlessly and tended to feel a little repetitive, though by the last two or three chapters the arguments that Graeber was trying to make cohered much more and definitely stuck the landing. even though it isn't a 5-star read it's still very much a valuable read, and reading it helped concretize certain opinions I had floating around and directed them into a more productive direction. I'm sure everyone will find some positive takeaway from this, even if nothing beyond a feeling of kinship with other people who hate their bullshit jobs.
