The Paradise Problem
by Christina Lauren
I love this book so much and recently listened to the audio version which was just as good!
The Paradise Problem has a bit of everything - tension, humour, chemistry, location, drama, toxic family, and everything in between.
Anna is hilarious, authentic and a one of a kind personality meanwhile Liam is put together, kind and extremely well meaning. I loved seeing them navigate situations together, balance each other out, provide support when things were hard and honesty when needed.
I was rooting for them from the very beginning and even with the yummy forced proximity I still found that their relationship progressed at a lovely, natural pace.
Christina & Lauren write in such a way that I could imagine every single thing mentioned in this book, it was all so clear to me and that is one of the things I enjoy most when reading.
My favourite part of the book:
She sends her arms around my neck, pulling me close. "Hug me," she says, pressing her mouth to my neck. "I didn't like being mad at you earlier."
I wrap my arms around her waist, holding her close. "I didn't like it, either."
This was such a beautiful and vulnerable moment between them after a somewhat hostile evening, and it just struck such a chord with me.
Highly recommend!
