This review is specifically for Every Brilliant Thing (though I enthusiastically recommend the entirety of the collection). Play scripts can often be a difficult read, particularly when they involve such a heavy degree of audience interaction as this does. However, the playwright does an incredible job making the gorgeous show come alive on the written page - I strongly recommend reading the generous footnotes. I found myself utterly transported to its melancholic and hilarious world.
