You guys. I. LOVE. this. book. Honestly, it kind of just fell into my lap: one day I was walking through the library and decided to just pick a random book off the shelf. The spine of this one looked interesting enough so I picked this one and I am so glad I did! Marillier's writing is just beautiful and the whole story is so artfully tied together. It feels timeless and holds such a special place in my heart. I keep it on hand to read when I need to feel all warm and fuzzy again; definitely highly recommend.
