This is the prequel novel to the excellent Tik Tok series, Hells Belles. It covers how Lily died, how she ended up in Hell, how she established the Hellp Desk (not a misspelling), how she met Beleth and Sharkie. This is romantasy, so it's big on emotions, there's plenty to make you cry, especially if you follow the series, and some of the most graphic and explicit sex scenes I've ever read. Romantasy isn't my usual go to category, but I thought this was very well written, even for those unfamiliar with the series, you're easily drawn to the characters, and quickly find yourself rooting for them, laughing with them, and crying for them.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Child abuse, Cursing, Domestic abuse, Injury/Injury detail
